The rail passenger carrier Vivi reported a turnover of 67.3 million euros in 2025, which is 3.62% higher than in 2024. Vivi's financial results were positively impacted by improved service availability and an increase in transport volume.

In the first four months of this year, Vivi carried 6.3 million train passengers. This is 2.5% or 158,000 fewer than in 2025, but 13% more than in 2024. The largest decline in passenger numbers compared to 2025 is on the Tukums line. The number of passengers on that line has fallen by 13.6%, or more than 305,000, because VAS “Latvijas dzelzceļš” reduced the number of trips on the Tukums line due to repair work.
