Vivi carried 6.3 million passengers on its trains over four months; 98.5% of trips completed on time in April
In the first four months of this year, Vivi carried 6.3 million train passengers. This is 2.5% or 158,000 fewer than in 2025, but 13% more than in 2024. The largest decline in passenger numbers compared to 2025 is on the Tukums line. The number of passengers on that line has fallen by 13.6%, or more than 305,000, because VAS “Latvijas dzelzceļš” reduced the number of trips on the Tukums line due to repair work.
