Types of Tickets

There are several types of tickets for the convenience of the passengers!

We offer one-time ticket, 1-day ticket, baggage ticket, 3, 5 or 30-day ticket, as well as unified and combined tickets with busses for the comfort of Aizkraukle, Tukums and Krāslava passengers.

In detail, each ticket type is described below:

• Day tickets to diesel trains in the section Riga-Lielvarde-Riga with included excess fare of EUR 1.00:

Choosing to go on the railway section Riga-Lielvarde-Riga by diesel train no. 802, 808, 818, 824, 804, 812, 822, 806, 816, 814, 823, 821, 815, 805, 819, 817, 801, 809, 811, 813, 807, 803, it should be noted that an excess fare of EUR 1.00 per speed is set for each journey on this train. When purchasing a ticket for a diesel train, the excess fare is already included in the price and with this ticket you can go on both diesel and electric trains.

• Day and subscription tickets to diesel trains in the section Riga-Jelgava-Riga with included excess fare of EUR 1.00:

Choosing to go on the railway section Riga-Jelgava-Riga by diesel train no. 721, 722, 723, 724, it should be noted that an excess fare of EUR 1.00 per speed is set for each journey on this train. When purchasing a ticket for a diesel train, the excess fare is already included in the price and with this ticket you can go on both diesel and electric trains.

• Fares reduction with 3+ Family Card or Honorary Family Certificate:
  • 40% discount for days tickets
  • 50% discount for one journey
  • 90% discount for one journey for pupil, student

Free ticket (ticket with 100% discount) - ticket can be purchased by children of pre-school age, members of the national resistance movement, politically persecuted persons, children-orphans, disabled children and their accompaniers, disabled persons of group I and their accompaniers, and disabled persons of group II. Certificate number or year of birth of children of pre-school age is indicated on the ticket. Free tickets can be purchased at our ticket offices and on the train from the conductor-controller.
