The Quality Management System of JSC “Pasažieru vilciens” has been certified as compliant with the international standard ISO 9001:2015. This achievement is the result of joint efforts of JSC “Pasažieru vilciens” employees. It proves that the company has worked effectively to develop, maintain and improve its quality management system.

Compliance with the customer requirements according to the highest quality standards is mandatory for any company's future growth in any field of activity. JSC “Pasažieru vilciens” has demonstrated its commitment to continuous improvement of the management system by successfully obtaining certification.

Being aware of its role and responsibility in the consumption of energy resources, JSC “Pasažieru vilciens” has implemented and maintains accounting for, planning and monitoring of energy consumption in the company. In order to ensure a continuous improvement and development of the energy consumption management system, the company has chosen to proceed with certification in accordance with the international standard ISO 50001: 2012. Energy management system certification in accordance with ISO 50001: 2012 was successfully obtained and is maintained in the company's operating processes.

Bureau Veritas Latvia LTD was selected to be JSC “Pasažieru vilciens” partner in the certification process.
