In the first half of the year, Vivi trains carried 10.1 million passengers; in June, 97.3% of trips were completed on time
In the first half of this year, Vivi transported 10.1 million train passengers. That is 0.3% – or 32,000 – fewer than in 2025. In the first half of the year, the largest decline in passenger numbers compared to 2025 was on the Tukums line, where 349,000 fewer passengers were transported due to repair work by VAS “Latvijas dzelzceļš”. At the same time, 4% more passengers were transported in June of this year than last year.
