Vivi carried 8.2 million passengers on its trains over five months; 98.15% of trips completed on time in May
In the first five months of this year, Vivi carried 8.2 million train passengers. This is 1% or 107,000 fewer than in 2025, but 15% more than in 2024. The largest decline in passenger numbers compared to 2025 is on the Tukums line. The number of passengers on that line has fallen by 12%, or more than 350,000, because VAS “Latvijas dzelzceļš” reduced the number of trips on the Tukums line due to repair work.
