Types of Tickets

Vivi offers the following ticket types: single-ride ticket, luggage ticket, time tickets for 1, 3, 5 and 30 days, as well as integrated tickets for the convenience of passengers in Aizkraukle, Tukums, Daugavpils, Krāslava and Dagda.

Important: The ticket must be registered immediately after boarding the train at a ticket validator or, if this is not possible, with the conductor. More about registration →

Standard and Time Tickets

Diesel Train Surcharges (EUR 1.00)

On the railway sections listed below, a surcharge of EUR 1.00 must be paid if you choose to travel on the specified diesel trains. When purchasing a ticket at the ticket office, the surcharge is already included in the price. With this ticket, you may travel on both diesel trains and electric trains.

Riga–Lielvārde–Riga: Trains No. 702, 703, 704, 705, 706, 707, 708, 801, 802, 803, 804, 805, 806, 807, 808, 809, 810, 811, 812, 813, 814, 815, 816, 817, 818, 819, 820, 821, 822, 823, 824, 825

Riga–Jelgava–Riga: Trains No. 721, 722, 723, 724

Riga–Valga–Riga (PESA series diesel trains): Train No. 874, 873

Express Train Surcharges (EUR 1.00)

A surcharge of EUR 1.00 per trip for higher speed applies to the following diesel trains:

Riga–Daugavpils–Krāslava–Indra–Riga: Trains No. 706, 708, 705, 707

Riga–Ludza–Riga: Trains No. 704, 703

Aizkraukle (AS "Liepājas autobusu parks")

In Aizkraukle, AS "Liepājas autobusu parks" transports train passengers with a valid train ticket from Aizkraukle railway station to Aizkraukle bus station, and vice versa with a pre-purchased train ticket. This service is provided on the following routes:

Free travel	100%	Preschool children, members of the national resistance movement, politically repressed persons, orphans, children with disabilities and their companions, Group I disabled persons and their companions, as well as Group II disabled persons. The ticket indicates the certificate number or the birth year of a preschool child. Free tickets can be obtained at ticket offices and from the train conductor.
