Travel to Vilnius and Tallinn

For the Vilnius–Riga–Tallinn connection, you can purchase:

  • transit tickets and tickets for the Vilnius–Riga route on the website of the Lithuanian operator LTG Link;
  • transit tickets and tickets for the Valga–Tallinn route on the website of the Estonian operator Elron;
  • tickets for the Riga–Valga route on the Vivi website or mobile app.

For the Tallinn–Riga connection, you can purchase:

  • transit tickets and tickets for the Tallinn–Valga route on the website of the Estonian operator Elron;
  • tickets for the Valga–Riga route on the Vivi website or mobile app.

These channels offer transit passenger tickets for 2nd class train carriage, but currently it is not possible to purchase discounted tickets or luggage tickets – those must be purchased separately from each operator.

Transit tickets for certain routes may be more affordable than buying three separate tickets. They can be purchased 14 to 30 days in advance of your chosen travel date and departure.

However, tickets for journeys operated by a single carrier can only be bought through that carrier’s ticketing system or through other partner ticket platforms. For the Riga–Valga segment, tickets can be purchased on the Vivi website or app; for the Vilnius–Riga train, tickets can be bought on the LTG Link website; for the Valga–Tallinn segment, tickets are available on the Elron website.

Please note that when purchasing transit tickets from Elron and LTG Link, the specific conditions of each operator apply – including terms for ticket exchange and refunds.

  • Starting July 18, an additional weekend train connection will be available on the Tallinn–Tartu–Riga route. On Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, the train will depart Tallinn at 13:23, Tartu at 16:14, Valga at 17:37, and arrive in Riga at 20:17. The transfer at Valga station takes place on the same platform and lasts about 7 minutes. Transit tickets for this route can be purchased on the Elron website, while tickets for each segment – Tallinn–Valga and Valga–Riga – can be purchased from the respective operators.

Attention! Due to railway maintenance work, stop times at certain stations may change. Please check for any updates when purchasing tickets.
